The Pet-a-Palosa is Coming!!!
This Sunday, about 50 rescue groups will be bringing their fostered animals so you can find the very one to add as a member of your family! It is at the Sundome at USF between 10am and 2pm. ACT will be there with information on the care of your animal and will host a hands on workshop at 12 noon to speak about the advantages of TNR and share info on the trapping process.

506 Males Cats in 2 Days....
Pictures of the Neuter-a-thon
...Plus another 64 male dogs and female cats and dogs were fixed for prices ranging from $5 to $55 with help from the Doris Day and Humane Society of the United States.
"You should do this more often" says Linda Arlington, a caregiver who's heart outweighs her funds. "I have been watching my cat family grow because I could afford to fix to them".
And the winning of the Family Jewels contest (largest body parts removed at the Neurathon) goes to Jenny Jocvick, owner of Moose, a very aptly name, formally well-endowed tom. "Its good to know he won't be anyone else's daddy" say Jenny. "And the wines not bad either". Moose will be ridding himself of any pent up energy climbing his new scratching post and playing with his two new catnip balls.
Watch for more specials as we tune in to stop the killing in Hillsborough County.
Thanks to Lisa Prenail with Little Pet Project for taking wonderful pictures at the event!

ABOUT ACT: ACT is a non-profit organization. Their primary focus is high volume spay/neuter programs to reduce the high number of companion animals entering local shelters, and in turn, end the tragedy of pet overpopulation in the community. Spay/neuter costs at the ACT clinic are greatly reduced and range from $40 to $95.* For low income Hillsborough County residents who qualify, the cost is merely $10, through the County’s voucher program.*
