Facts
- FACT: Euthanasia used as a means of population control kills more dogs and cats than all other diseases put together.
- FACT: Each day, in Hillsborough County, approximately 75 dogs and cats are euthanized at our local shelter. 75. Everyday. No holidays. No sick days. No nights and weekends.
- FACT: This death march will continue until we, the public, stopping bringing them boxes of puppies and kittens we didn’t mean to have.
- FACT: For every home we find for that litter, we have taken a potential home from another puppy or kitten who would live if he had a chance, if he had a family to love him, feed him and give him a place to sleep.

The ACT Spay Neuter Clinic was opened in March 2006 to provide people with a means to do the right thing. Our prices are low and our margins are thin. But if you can’t afford our low prices, check into the Hillsborough County Voucher that we honor. Call us!
The Clinic Story
The ACT Clinic was established to give people an affordable way to do the right thing. Last year, over 44,000 dogs and cats were euthanized in Hillsborough County because there just were not enough homes for them all. Please do your part. Spay & Neuter. We'll help by keeping the prices low.
The clinic is open to the pubic by appointment for surgeries Monday through Thursday. Friday is generally scheduled for a low cost Shot and Microchip Clinic
You can bring your pet to the address below or check the Neuter Scooter schedule for free transportation from a pre-set pick up point for your dog or cat.

Directions from North: Take SR 275 to Armenia exit (exit 42). Go south on Armenia 6 blocks to Lemon. Turn left on Lemon for 3 blocks. Corner of Lemon & Fremont.
Directions from South: Take Kennedy to Howard; turn north for 8 blocks. One block north of Cass. Turn right on Lemon 2 blocks. Corner of Lemon & Fremont.
Directions from the Crosstown: Take Crosstown to Willow exit (exit 4). Take Willow about 8 blocks north of Kennedy to Lemon (one block north of Cass). Turn left on Lemon for 3 blocks. Corner of Lemon & Fremont.
